The
Moss Agate is also a true agate created much the same as the
banded
agates. Included matter of a green
,
golden, red, black or other colour or combinations embedded
in the chalcedony and disposed in filaments and other forms
suggestive of vegetable growth, gives rise to dendritic or moss
agate (named varieties include Maury Mountain, Richardson Ranch,
Sheep Creek and others).

Healing stones made from moss agate placed in the grave
insure that the corpse can not be affected by necromatic
powers.

Rare Uses and Items
Bowl
of the Healer
The Bowl of the Healer is a stone bowl of moss agate on a pedastel
of silver. Wounds washed with water from this bowl close up,
even those caused by strikes with weapons of wounding. The bowls
were created by the Druids of the Spine Forest.
A Heal check of DC 15 is required for the bowl to be effective,
so only the skilled can use them properly.
