True rituals are an advanced form of casting unique to the Scarred Lands. Detailed rules on ritual casting can be found in Relics & Rituals and Relics & Rituals II: Lost Lore.

Ritual magic allows for lengthened casting time and combined casting between multiple casters. True rituals are unique in that they are unique spells unto themselves. Other forms of ritual magic enhance traditional spells.

True rituals are as varied as other spells, doing anything from granting temporary bonuses or one time effects to immortality.
