Shadow, the only name he uses consitently, is an enigmatic blade-for-hire. Slight of build and deft of movement, he is known to wield two rapiers, which crackle with fire and lightning. He always appears as human, but this is not believed to be his race (some claim that he is a dark elf, though others offer half-elf or even halfling as his race). He has been known to travel extensively through Calastian holdings, and though he claims no loyalty to the Black Dragon, he has much freedom in Virduk's lands. Only Shadow knows his true motives; to others, he seems an affable, genteel fellow of means. He dances with nobility, and clashes blades with his employer's foes. Shadow has been hired as a spy, assassin, bodyguard, thief, and investigator. It is said that when one needs Shadow, only then he will be at hand.
