Hunter's Spear

Actually a javelin, the hunters spear is a prized item by bounty hunters everywhere for the ability to track down the wielders enemies. Some have coined it as the "vigilante spear". Once per day, the user may speak a command word before wounding a living thing with the weapon. For a week thereafter, or until the spear strikes six other living creatures, it may be used to track down that foe & up to six others similarly "marked" by the weapon. Undead, constructs, & similar creatures are reportedly immune to the spears abilities.

First used by the warrior-mages of Valmatas; many have since found their way into the hands of bounty-hunters, jailors, vigilantes & less savory types of people.
