Effects

The war sphere lies dormant until the owner holds the sphere in his hands and pronounces the command word. Then, the sphere transforms a whirlwind of bladed weapons. These weapons hides partially the caster, which provides him a 20% miss chance against all ranged attacks. They attacks every creatures within 5 feet with an attack bonus of +10. The blades deal 1d8 points of slashing damage and inflicts a critical hit on a 19-20 (critical multiplier x2). The weapons are magical and bypass damage reduction (X/magic).

Once the sphere is activated, the owner can pronounce a second command word and send all the blades toward a single target within 60 feet and within line of sight. This deals 9d6 points of slashing damage. The target can make a Reflex save (DC 17) to halves the damage. The blades then gather and reform the sphere. It flies then toward the owner's hand.

The war sphere can stay around the caster during 5 minutes. However, this duration is ended as soon as the second command word is spoken. The sphere can be activated only three times per day.
