Working on the Geist story I went looking for a Wendigo image that fit the North American idea of a Wendigo, and came across Keith Thompson’s web site gallery. His was definitly the best I had seen in my search.

Since then, however, I keep going back there and looking around, and I keep discovering new images which really are amazing.

I kind of look at artists like I look at actors. There are some actors, every time you seen them… no matter what part they are playing, they are really playing themselves. Vin Diesel for example.. he plays Vin Diesel. An then there are actors who are the “part” they are playing.

A lot of artists are the same way. Keith Thompson has an edge to him that keeps becoming sharper, and redefined, which I find refreshing.
