While the test from before didn’t prove very successful against the plate metal, the tests these guys are showing against other types of armor show the bowmen doing more than causing a bit of discomfort. The chain-mail shirts and other types of leather armor, beg the question, ‘why bother‘ … I’m sure in battle it would give some protection against sword blades and daggers, but the arrows are cutting through the links like they weren’t there.. they don’t even appear to be hindered.
