New to the Scarred Lands?
The Scarred Lands is a D20 world, based on the v3.0 rule set. Our Library of Lokil Wiki is currently in the process of updating many of the rules from the Scarred
Lands' NPC's and other items to 3.5 and soon we'll start on the 4.0 rule set as well. Scarred Lands adventures and day-trips are also in development. Our forum is dedicated to increasing the Scarred Lands game, and helping new players, or players just new to the Scarred Lands get started.
The main continent of the Scarred Lands world is called Ghelspad. This is the continent hit most hard during the Divine War. The continent to the south of Ghelspad
is Terramana. Terramana did not play host to most of the war, but was hit hard several times, causing catastrophic damage to the geography, and many of the native
races. The Citadel of the Rose (mentioned in the Scarred Lands book for Terramana) was sealed off from the world. It was also on the northern shore of Terramana
that the Elf God was destroyed by the Titans.
The ocean to the east of Ghelspad is deluged with the blood of the Titan, and has been called the Blood Sea ever since. Pirates of the Scarred Lands hold the Toe
Islands just on the other side of the blood soaked waters of this sea, while on the shore the Mithril Knights, Paladins of the Scarred Lands God defend against the
horrors transformed by the Titans' Blood.
Sword and Sorcery published # main Scarred Lands source books, and # Scarred Lands City books. Also there are # other supporting books.
Our Scarred Lands wiki (The Library of Lokil) has a wealth of knowledge on these books, as well as supporting information for the rest of the Scarred Lands.

Red Seas Under Red Skies
The Gentalmen Bastards are finally back in Scott Lynch's new novel Red Seas Under Red Skies. Locke and Jean decide that depression and longing for times past is just not making it, and set out to take on the biggest, most deadly target they can come up with, which in true Lamora fashion turns out to be fairly accurate, espesially the deadly part.
Scott Lynch certainly succeeds in creating a novel that meets any expectation built up from his first fantasy novel, The Lies of Locke Lamora, and in my personal view, exceeds them.

The Lies of Locke Lamora
Welcome to the world of Scott Lynch, a writer who appears not to be well known at the moment, but that is sure to change. It has been years since I've read a fantasy novel that really captured both my interest as a fantasy enthusiast and as a writer. Scott Lynch as an amazing style of writing, and a truly fresh means of telling a story. Well worth the trip into his world. Read the Excerpt and decide for yourself.
Shadow Dance Novel
The
11th chapter of Shadow Dance
is now posted. Shadow Dance is an Elaine Northstar book, based
on the Shelzar City
tales. We welcome comments in our forum area. Enjoy.
If you have a Scarred Lands Short Story or eBook you would like
published on Scarn.com, please get in touch with Glenn
on the Forum.
If
you have a Scarred Lands Adventure you have written, or maps,
or anything else you would like to add to this site (which you
have created yourself of course), send it to the Scarn DM, and
we would be happy to post the file and give you credit for the
creation. These will be added to our
Library of Lokil area.

Map o fScarred Lands City: Shelzar City of Sin
In
the Scarred Lands Files area there is now a
PDF map of Shelzar. The
Shelzar City of Sin book from Sword and Sorcery is great,
but the map in that particular Scarred Lands Source book is not really up to requirements of game play. There are two very important things
in a D20 game source book, Maps, and Indexes.. unfortunately,
Sword and Sorcery fails in those two areas in the Scarred Lands book set quite a bit. However,
because of a great fan base, there are maps and indexes available
on the web for the Scarred Lands. If you find some for the Scarred Lands area, that
we don't already have, please let us know in the
Forum area, or email them to the Scarn DM
