In north Ontario a rouge Sin-Eater has pushed the envelope on necromancy too far. Underestimating the primal forces of the woodlands, and ignoring the ancient shaman signs, marking out a Sacred Grove, the Sin-Eater has attracted, with his necromantic ritual and human sacrifice, a Wrath, both ancient, and terrible. Wrath, like a storm, descended down from the aurora, and up from the chthonic forces of the earth, consuming his flesh, warping his binary spirit, leaving him desiccated, and starving. Leaving him Wendigo...
the artwork of the Wendigo is from Keith Thompson, who has some amazing work on his web site.
Shades of North
A raging spirit is loose in the woods, killing and eating villagers and white-men alike. The local law has no clue what they are dealing with, the national support is just as effective. The spirit continues its devouring unchecked and unchallenged, between the crescent and the full of the moon. So far thirty-eight people are dead or missing. The group of Sin-Eaters, being guided by the messenger, travels north, up the coast, where they come across the group lou-batters. Then to the east interior, where they meet a very old Sin-Eater, and learn of powers in the norther lands that make the dead hours of New York seem safe by comparison From here they travel north again to the village of the calling, and face the wrath of a spirit which devours both the body and soul of its victims.
Geist: The Sin-Eaters is the sixth game in the World of Darkness.
