Few
things are better in life than the feel of a war horse between
your legs and the weight of a heavy sword in your hands. At least
this is the world as Sorrena sees it. From the back of a horse,
in the wilds, life is clear and understandable. The closer you
are to a city, the more muddled the world becomes. And relationships?
Ha! That's just another word for confusion as far as Sorrena is
concerned.
There are many types of Rangers in the world. Some feel that
the protection of a natural area is their calling. Others, like
Sorrena, only seek to know the wilderness and survive well in
the wilds, because they have little chance in surviving and
understanding the cities.
Sorrena felt for a long time that being alone in the wilds
and comfortable was the only life she was suited for, but after
she met, and fell in love with Burn,
a bard in the world of Scarn, she now sees things a little differently.
She often seeks out the advise of Saul's
wife Tanasha Lu, in the way
of dress and other city life knowledge. However, she rarely
stays in the cities long enough for her lessons to take hold.
The call of a fast horse and the feel of wind in her hair is
often too much to resist unless Burn is actually in the room
and looking in her eyes.
Few enemies make the mistake of underestimating the battle
skills of Sorrena when she is on horseback. Those that do rarely
live long enough to benefit from their mistakes. Sorrena has
quickly made a name for herself in several battles, and is called
on by the Rangers of Vesh
if they know she is in the area.
Currently Sorrena calls no particular area of the Scarred Lands
'home', though she can often be found between Vesh
and Burok Torn.
