To: Watch Detective Saul Woodcloak
Received your first report on the Tanis Asher case. I have
to agree that the innuendos made by Asher before his death are
not something we can build a case on.
I am sending Newall Call back as requested with the ferret
Mox for blood sniffing. I'm also sending along Bercon Boya to
help you with transcription. I know it is early but if you can
get into the cabin before the guests wake up and rule out the
possibility of murder on the physical side, it will help get
them on their way faster this morning. If you do find something,
it would be better to be prepared when the guests wake up. As
you said in your report, these are influential people. While
it is true that their influence will not be allowed ot hinder
your investigation, why muddy the waters if we don't have to?
If after you have examined the cabin and are satisfied that
no signs point to a contrived death by persons other than the
deceased, you may clear the ship and allow her to leave port.
